In the wider public sector Altius people have worked with other statutory bodies such as Government Owned Corporations in sectors as diverse as transport, water retail and tourism.  We understand the accountability and audit requirements from our contract audit appointments by successive Auditors-General.  Our deep understanding of these allows us to provide many non-statutory audit services to statutory public sector bodies via our consulting services.

Altius’ consulting services include best practice implementation of the requirements of “Sunshine” template financial statements for statutory bodies to ensure you are audit-ready as early as possible. One of our clients has been the first public sector entity to complete its financial statements every year since 2012, having used Altius’ consulting services, and the only one to have its audit opinion dated in July.
